A blast from the past!
March 21, 2012
I was going through my journals and note books and I found this! Apparently that Wednesday at school a bunch of people had some fails. I’m a writer and I always would write down stuff that would happen in the day. This is just a small, funny note that I felt like writing.
For school I have to write out a childhood memory. I knew I instantly wanted to write about my brother and I. Brandon was my best friend growing up throughout our childhood. Only being a year apart does help. We nearly ever fought as kids. I know that sounds crazy and un-normal but that’s how it was. We always got along. Of course we had our times where we’d get mad at each other but it never lasted long. One of my favorite memories was this;
It all started when we had to go to our room because we both were in trouble. We were bored and needed something to do that’s when the idea came into our heads! We were quite young when we started throwing stuff onto the fan. 🙂 It was our fun, new game that we discovered. We’d grab clothes, small stuffed animals, and socks and throw them onto the blades of the fan. Brandon and I had bunk beds so we were able to put stuffed animals on the blades a lot easier. After the fan was enclosed with items, we flipped the switch on. Clothes and animals went flying around the room! We laughed till we couldn’t breathe anymore. At one point the fan started to smell very bad. We figured out it was a smoke smell. And we turned off the fan quickly. And we continued to laugh non stop.
It’s definitely one of my favorite childhood memories with my partner in crime, Brandon.
“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
Up in the sky,
The stars shine bright,
Over your dreams
And all through the night.
Up in the sky,
The moon is lit bright,
Over your fears
All through the fight.
Up in the sky,
The shining sun is bright,
Over your day
All through out the heights.
Up in the sky,
The Lord is The Light,
Over your sorrows
And all through your life.
Up in the sky,
Jesus Christ will watch,
He guides us through
Life’s toughest parts.
My brother comes home from his friends house and when he does he has super funny stories. Today he told me one about Jesse and Pc and how the fire alarm went off in the house and they couldn’t get it to turn off. There was smoke from the meat they were cooking. 🙂 Brandon said that the hamburger was way bigger than the hamburger bun. Haha!
Another story he told was when you all were at the store. And Jesse grabbed a ton of monster and put it in the cart. I guess you bought a ton of monster, I don’t know, Brandon didn’t say.
I love hearing stories about Brandons’ friends. They do some funny things. 🙂 I could go on and on of stories Brandon tells me.
Jesse, you are one hilarious guy! And pc, he is also super funny. He’ll come over and just go crazy while playing video games and everything. He reminds me a lot of you when Pc comes over. I guess that explains a lot though… You’re brothers! Hahaha ;D
The one who gave you breath is The Almighty God. He gave you breath, a heartbeat, a house, clothes, food, water, family, friends, life, Internet to put this on WordPress, phone/iPod/tablet to write out your stories for WordPress; He gave you so many things! We need to thank him today! Right now! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for our sins so that we may go to Heaven when we die! This year I’m making a difference in my life and living for God more than I ever have before! Because He gave me life!
Who will join me? Will you pray and thank God for what He’s done for you? He gave you clothes to wear and food to eat and family to love. So thank Him right now! 😀

I don’t have a good relationship with my dad. I can’t exactly tell you why, because I don’t know. I’ve never had a good relationship with him. I always was and I still am very close to my mom. Me and my mom do everything together.
There’s only a few things that my dad is interested in talking about; Deer, bears, hunting, banjo, elk, guitar. So today I talked about hunting. I’ve always wanted to go hunting. Especially deer hunting. But I’ve never gone because he never would take me. My older brother, Kyle, is into hunting so they both have a good relationship. I have told my dad many times that I wish he’d take hunting and even fishing! The only thing I’ve ever gone somewhere with my dad that was actually fun, was when my two brothers and I went fishing with my dad. I was 6 years old! That was 10 years ago!! And that is the only time we’ve ever gone fishing. It was an amazing day. And it is the only memory I have of me and my dad together.
So today I’m sitting on the couch and my dad puts in a Bow Madness* C.D. He starts talking to himself. But I just decide to think that he’s actually talking to me. (Even though I know he isn’t.) So I start to talk to him about bears, deers, and bows. And he starts to talk to me!! This is the first time in months since he’s talked to me like this. We actually have a conversation. I miss this.
I hear him say that he wishes he could go bear hunting. I think to myself, “I wish he would take me hunting in general….”
I’ve told myself that I’ve given up on asking him. Because every time I ask him if he’ll take me hunting or fishing he says, “yeah, uh huh, we’ll go. Yeah. Yeah. Uh huh. Yeah! Yeah! Mmm hmm.” Then it never happens. He doesn’t sound like he would even want to take me. So I don’t ask him anymore.
But he is my dad. And God made him my dad for a reason.
