My heart starts pumping, I can feel it through my shirt. My head starts to throb, I can feel it going from my heart to my head. I start to feel my heartbeat in my head. I close my eyes for a split second then open them again. I close my left eye, squinting to see through the scope. I see the target. My hand starts to shake from adrenaline. I get goosebumps down my back. The safety gets pushed off. Rushes of adrenaline goes flowing through my body as I start to breath heavily. It’s on my turn when I choose to push the trigger. I see the target right in front of me. I grip the gun like it’s my life line.
I push the trigger.
I shoot the gun! It has some backfire. I feel the gun hit my shoulder like the feeling of a roller coaster before you go down the huge hill.
I smile. I’ve accomplished it. And I can’t wait to shoot it again. (12. Gage)
