“The Heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.”
The Heavens tell us that God is vast and powerful.
The sun is big but not too big that it would engulf the earth.
The sun is small but not too small that the earth would have to orbit very close to it.
The sun is single star which is very rare.
Earth is at the perfect distance from the sun.
A few percent would be devastating for earth just by a small change. That is why earth is at a perfect distance. We are very special to God because He made everything perfect for us to live in!
“Behold, God is great, and we know Him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. For he maketh small drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapor thereof; which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.”
God is talking about it raining. God is talking about the water cycle. This is before weather men even knew about the water cycle. Men studied about the weather, trying to figure it out even more. But if they just read the Bible, they would know that God invented the water cycle.
Job 28:24, 25
“For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.”
Years ago, people thought that the earth was flat. And that you could fall off the edge of earth. Well, if they just read the Bible then they would of known that God made the earth, the winds, and the waters.
“Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, wither thou shalt go forth abroad: And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:”
This verse is explaining about going to the restroom. God told the isrealites, when they have to go potty, to go out of the camp and get their paddle (shovel) and dig a hole and after they’re done to cover it back up with the dirt. God told them to do this so they would be free of germs and they would have less diseases.
In history times when people went to the bathroom they went into a bucket and then they’d throw it out the window or into an alley. Everywhere stunk! People would wear high heels or hats to keep from steeping on the stuff the people threw out! But if they just read the Bible back then, and understood that God was keeping the isrealites out from danger and sickness, then they probably wouldn’t of had to go through all that sickness and disease.
“All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.”
God told the Israelites that if they do get sick to get away from everybody. He told them to go somewhere alone and not go around people, or they will get defiled (sick) too.
Verse 22- “And whatsoever the unclean person touch shall be unclean; and the soul that touch it shall be unclean unto even.”
God told the isrealties that if you touch a sick or dead person to wash your hands before and after you touch it or you will be defiled and unclean.
In history, people didn’t know to wash their hands before and after they do a surgery or when they touch a deceased person. There were many dying in a hospital long ago, and a doctor, began to tell his nurses to wash their hands before and after they do surgery. The nurses didn’t like that they had to wash their hands with this surgical soap and water before and after they did surgery and after they all began to wash their hands many of the patients stopped dying. Because the nurses and doctors were clean while doing surgery.
